"Shop A" is a small, family owned record shop. As the name suggests, this is the shop I usually go to. It lives in a relatively rural area, which is quite nice. It's not a hugely popular store for this reason, so I usually get the place to myself. This shop mostly carries used records, with a couple new ones sprinkled in. They do not carry other formats like CDs or cassettes, which is slightly disappointing but not a huge deal. Thanks to carrying used records, prices are usually pretty acceptable, at the cost of a hit-or-miss selection. Most of my collection came from this shop. This was the first record shop I'd ever visited, completely on a whim. As a joke, I decided to look up record shops around me, expecting the nearest one to be like an hour away. I was very surprised indeed to see this one only 15 minutes away, and from there it just became a habit. For a while I'd visit once a week, and always leave with at least one record.
